Wedding Colors: Blue, with yellow/gold accents6. First Dance Song: A Love That Will Never Grow Old, Emmylou Harris7: Tell us a little bit about you and your FI: We're college sweethearts, living in the Rio Grande Valley, where we both work, but planning a wedding in Austin, since there's more to do there and almost all our guests are from out of town, if not out of state. Perhaps this comm will be more active than the other TX comm...1. Name/FI's Name: Melissa / Aaron2. Wedding Date: July 6, 20073. Age: 294. City: Mabank, but the wedding will be in the Kaufman/Terrell area5. Wedding Colors: Chocolate, Burgundy, and Burnt Orange6. First Dance Song: Etta James - At Last7: Tell us a little bit about you and your FI: Aaron and I met 3 years ago through a mutual friend of over 15 years. We are from the same small town area in East Texas and he was there on leave for 45 days before being transferred to Pensacola in the Navy. (He has been in the Navy for 14 yrs now.) It was instant insane chemistry. We have lived apart all this time while I helped my mother through nursing school and I finished mine as well. He proposed to me while he was home for Thanksgiving leave. He built a huge bonfire and we sat out under the stars. I was so surprised when he popped the question even though I knew from day one I was to marry him. I told him I had thought we would live together for a few years before taking that leap, and he said "But don't you think you deserve more than that?"So I'm about to embark on some of life's most stressful events - graduation, relocation, new career, and marriage.. all at once. Prayers and sympathy are needed. ;)
